Jordan Waddell serves as Chief Operating Officer of Davis, Burch & Abrams, overseeing the firm’s daily operations and helping keep internal systems organized, responsive, and efficient. As Jordan Waddell, COO, she supports the attorneys, staff, and clients by improving firm processes, coordinating administrative workflows, and helping ensure the business side of the firm runs smoothly.
Jordan initially joined Davis, Burch & Abrams in 2020 as a paralegal and quickly took on additional responsibility as office manager. After earning her MBA from Regent University in 2024, she was appointed Davis, Burch & Abrams COO, reflecting her growing role in firm leadership and operations.
Her work helps the legal team stay focused on client matters while maintaining the structure, communication, and operational consistency needed to support sophisticated legal work.
Jordan helps coordinate the systems that support the firm’s attorneys and clients behind the scenes. Her work includes operational planning, administrative management, internal process improvement, workflow coordination, and support for the firm’s day-to-day needs. She also serves as DBA’s billing contact.
She brings a practical, organized approach to firm operations, helping translate business needs into clearer processes and more consistent support across the firm.
Jordan is a Chesapeake, Virginia native with prior experience as a legal assistant before joining Davis, Burch & Abrams. She began her education at Tidewater Community College, earning an Associate Degree in General Studies in 2017, and continued at Old Dominion University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology in 2019.
She completed her MBA at Regent University in 2024, further strengthening her role in firm operations, management, and business administration.
