Elie El-Habr supports Davis, Burch & Abrams in commercial litigation and business disputes, bringing a strong foundation in legal research, written advocacy, and courtroom preparation. His work focuses on helping the litigation team analyze legal issues, develop arguments, prepare case materials, and support matters as they move through discovery, motions practice, trial, and appeals.
Elie’s background is built around advocacy. While at Regent University School of Law, he served as the Chairman of the law school’s esteemed Moot Court Board, competing at a high level in national moot court competitions. He led Regent Law to secure major national advocacy victories, building experience that sharpened critical litigation skills: clear issue framing, meticulous briefing, command of the trial record, and the ability to respond under pressure.
Before joining Davis, Burch & Abrams, Elie gained practical legal experience in both the public and private sectors, where his work included legal research, legal writing, courtroom assistance, and client communication.
Elie distinguished himself at Regent University School of Law through academic performance and national advocacy competition victories. He and his team won the Hicks Thomas National Moot Court Championship, an elite invitational competition for the Top 16 schools. He and his team also won the John J. Gibbons National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition, where Elie was recognized as the Best Oralist among advocates from forty schools. Earlier in his journey, Elie led the team who won the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition, Philadelphia Regional, and earned the Best Brief award.
At Regent Law, Elie received the Ronald L. Fick Book Award for the highest grade in a course six times. He also earned the Appellate Award at graduation, which is a testament to his exceptional performance in appellate advocacy. And for his academic achievement, stewardship, and dedication to his organization’s success, Elie was named the Outstanding J.D. Graduate for the Class of 2026.

Elie works with the firm’s litigation team on business disputes involving contracts, commercial relationships, ownership issues, and related civil litigation matters. His role includes legal research, written analysis, discovery support, document review, and drafting tied to pleadings, motions, and case strategy.
He approaches litigation by identifying pivotal facts and legal issues that are most likely to shape the dispute. For business clients, that means helping the team focus on the arguments that affect leverage, risk, and the path toward resolution.
Elie’s legal experience includes work with the Virginia Indigent Defense Commission, where he assisted with legal research, writing, courtroom support, and client communication. That work exposed him to active litigation environments and the importance of preparation, responsiveness, and clear communication. In addition, he interned at a private firm and served as a law clerk for the Robertson Center for Constitutional Law.
Elie also has a background in business, having earned his degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from The Pennsylvania State University before attending Regent Law School.
